Video (YCbCr/YPbPr) offers stunning video performance potential,
being the connection of choice for analogue applications up
to 1080i high definition. Being second only to full digital
HDMI™, component video is even preferred to RGB-HV due
to its use as the native video format on DVD software - that
is, movies on DVD are stored in Component video colorspace,
so no further conversion is required. Like all other connections,
the performance of component video is just as dependant on
the quality of cable used as it is on the source and display
devices, so be sure to choose a cable with the due consideration
it deserves.
The
EVOLUTION-S series of component video interconnects utilizes
the same high quality construction as its EVOLUTION namesake,
but with the performance enhancement of premium Silver
Plating on the primary conductors. The very
high frequencies (up to 700MHz) which are used in all component
video applications ensure that "skin effect" is
