Compression Connectors

The KORDZ® RC6 series connectors were engineered from scratch to perfectly fit the 6mm REVOLUTION™ series bulk cables. The result is an elegant connector design with a world class air-tight compression fit, of which the trained professional installer can terminate from raw cable to ready-to-use in just 15 seconds!

24k Gold plated contact surfaces
Full metal construction with titanium plated rear shell - all single piece designs; no separate pins, ferrules or shells etc
Optimized internal ground collar design retains 75Ω cable impedance for best video performance
Tapered internal center core receptacle ensures reliable core contact without shorting
Air-tight compression design ensures longevity of cable integrity. By comparison, push-on or screw terminating systems leave air exposure, resulting in corrosion/oxidization of the core & shield over time
Machine turned receptacle on rear shell accepts RB series color bands for channel identification - 7 colors available (see below)

Channel ID color bands

These simple rubber color bands provide an effective and economical channel ID system for the REVOLUTION™ series connectors, in both compression (above) and solder type. Help minimize connector stock carrying requirements by using the color-generic KORDZ® titanium plated connector, then customize each channel ID as required at installation by applying a color ring to the pre-turned receptacle on each connector shell. With a choice of 7 colors for virtually any AV application, they are compatible for use with all RC6 & RS6 series connectors, including RCA, BNC, F and RF/TV compression (above), as well as RCA solder type.
