8.0" Flush mount in-ceiling speakers

The KORDZ® 8.0" round CUSTOM speakers are constructed from the same design principles as the 6.5" model featured above, but with a large woofer. This results in not only the obvious - more bass - but also a deeper, richer midrange/vocal performance. This is so in any sized room, although the 8.0" should be the only consideration for larger rooms in particular.

6.5" Dual Tweeter / Single Stereo in-ceiling speakers

The single stereo speaker is a brilliant innovation for small rooms such as bathrooms, where only one speaker is justified, but without losing a channel of audio. The single woofer has two voice coils, one for left channel, the other for right channel. The coaxially mounted tweeter array features two separate soft dome tweeters, again for left and right channel. Flip the speaker over and you'll see a few outstanding features of the KORDZ® Custom solution - 1. an oversized magnet to ensure smooth and reliable performance, 2. a huge crossover network for full 2-way 12dB/octave x-over (usually only found in much higher priced speakers), and 3. two sets of 24k gold plated binding post terminals.

Designed for use with an in-wall volume control system or direct from a speaker selector, many pairs of CUSTOM speakers can be installed throughout your home for crisp, clear sound. The rectangular shape of this model is best suited for in-wall applications, although it is looks great when mounted in the ceiling near a cornice - that is, use round in the middle areas of a room's ceiling, and rectangular if you want to mount near the sides. This model is a step up from the 6.5" in-ceiling with its ported baffle design and larger woofer magnet, hence greater power handling... awesome sound...
