Like everything in the whole KORDZ range, we develop a design with a performance goal in mind, and then produce a prototype to test the actual results. There are two products in particular which surprised even us with performance level well beyond what we had initially engineered - the MASTER™ series interconnects, and these outdoor speakers. To paraphrase comments from some of our customers "...they thump!". With unprecedented performance which is completely unrivalled at this price point, they will not disappoint. Suitable for a vast range of outdoor applications, and included with strong "D" brackets for mounting under eaves, on a wall, from a pergola, veranda or post etc, the options are endless. Best bass performance is achieved by mounting with a solid surface behind the speaker, such as in a wall/roof corner - eg hanging from a roof eave with a brick wall backing.
