This passive junction box provides a cost effective solution for managing the many cables that result from a multiple cross-brand* IR target system installation or a volume control based distributed audio system. It enables room-by-room termination and troubleshooting and, being 4-pole in design, it can also be used with STATUS supporting IR systems. Each terminal strip is also labelled with speaker cable termination ID, for optional alternate use as a structured speaker cable management box (L+ L- R+ R-). A perfect solution for those wanting music throughout the home without the expense of a sophisticated IP, keypad or remote control system.

pre-labelled for both speaker level (L+ L- R+ R-) and IR Extender (V+ GND STATUS IR) - Totally passive circuit for parallel connection of up to eight Kordz® GEN-2 IR targets to one IR-C240 connecting block with terminal strip or up to 8 pairs of speakers each via a Kordz® impedance matching volume control
