Composite Video
Composite video utilises the same cable construction as coaxial digital cables, which is why these cables share the same product codes as their coaxial equivalent. Composite video is an analogue video format that combines all luminance and color information into one conductor. This compromises the quality of picture and is the primary reason this cable is now rarely used and component video is preferable.
Performance can still vary however – with different series available in the Kordz range. All Kordz interconnects are a 75Ω impedance construction with at least two types of integrated shielding and various conductor materials.
