This handy adapter converts a
HDMI plug into a DVI-D one. Since HDMI uses the same
core technology as DVI-D (the digital only DVI), the plugs can be used
interchangeably. Keep in mind, you are limited to 1900 × 1200
resolution (single link DVI-D) and HDCP is compulsary on HDMI
yet optional on DVI.
