Kordz Receives Two Prestigious Awards for New PRO SlimCat™ Network Cable System at ISE 2023

Multi-award-winning professional-grade cabling manufacturer Kordz brings home from ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) 2023 the coveted TNT (Top New Technologies) award from CE Pro and Best of Show honors from Sound & Video Contractor for its game-changing PRO SlimCat™ line of Cat 6 cable and components. Comprising bulk-reducing 4mm diameter Cat 6 cable and specially designed RJ45 crimp connectors and RJ45 keystone sockets, PRO SlimCat™ delivers robust, compact end-to-end connectivity and installs faster and easier than other Cat 6 solutions. Kordz’s PRO SlimCat™ System was selected by a distinguished panel of judges as the most innovative residential networking technology and was presented the TNT award by CE Pro at Integrated Systems Europe in Barcelona, January 31-February 3. Developed to streamline installation of networking systems in smaller spaces or where retrofitting cable is difficult, PRO SlimCat™ fills a void in the industry while supporting 100W PoE++ and delivering 1Gbps network connectivity up to 50 meters. “Structured cabling is a mature and saturated market, so we decided to approach the category differently by developing a complete Category 6 networking system of products that takes up significantly less space and can reach areas that other cabling solutions can’t,” says James Chen, Kordz Managing Director. “The diameter of the unshielded 28AWG SlimCat™ cable is half the size of 23AWG and 24AWG network cable and highly flexible with a 32mm bend radius to snake easily and without damage around corners and other roadblocks.”
